Full Job Description
McCosker Contracting and Acciona are partnering with Sunwater and GHD to construct the Rookwood Weir. The Rookwood Weir is a landmark project that will capture valuable water in the lower Fitzroy River for use across the Central Queensland region. The project is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland governments and will provide water security for the Central Queensland region, boost the regional economy, create jobs during construction and develop and diversify industry and agriculture.

McCosker Contracting are committed to maintaining a safe and productive workforce and as such we are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant with a positive attitude and a solid work ethic to join our dynamic and friendly office. This role is a 9-month Maternity Leave cover required to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our Project’s senior-level managers.

Responsibilities of this role include:
Managing calendars for senior-level managers and set up meetings
Act as the point of contact among senior-level managers, employees, clients and other internal / external partners
Reconcile expenses for senior-level managers
Assist in the preparation of weekly or monthly reports
Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
Take minutes during meetings
Organise workshops, and related forums including arranging attendance of participants, catering, venue
Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence and information
Organise and maintain the office filing system and documents

Pre-Requisites of the Roles:
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent MS Office knowledge
Highly organised and good with managing time; ensuring all appointments, meetings, and other demands are well-scheduled
Can multitask and make quick, critical decisions; able to work well under pressure
Discretion and confidentiality
Current Drivers’ License
Able to pass a medical, including drug & alcohol screen
