JOB DESCRIPTION

Clinical Nurse - Occupational Therapist - Psychologist - Social Worker (Until 30 June 2022)
This role is designed to support the increasing need in Child and Youth Services, particularly presentations to Emergency Departments, which includes presentations outside of normal business hours. This position will offer short term case management and discipline specific brief intervention therapies to support consumers to access early interventions as well as referring to longer term case management and medical team oversight if deemed appropriate.

About the Role:
The Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Wellbeing Collaborative Response Team was established to respond to the impact of COVID-19 and the increase in need for mental health and alcohol & other drugs services across Central Queenland. The Wellbeing Collaborative Response Team will renew emphasis on alternative and short-term crisis management and work closely with both internal and external partners to introduce stepped care pathways across the broader network of health and community services to improve communication and consumer flow, ensuring early intervention, coordinated care and hospital avoidance.

This role is designed to support the increasing need in Child and Youth Services, particularly presentations to Emergency Departments, which includes presentations outside of normal business hours. Salary Information
HP3:
Total remuneration value of up to $9,439 p.m. is comprised of;

  • a salary between $2,836.20 - $3,805.00 p.f.
  • up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
Nurse Grade 6 (1)
Total remuneration value of up to $9,626 p.m. is comprised of;
  • a salary between $3,623.90 - $3,880.40 p.f.
  • up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements:
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
