About the Role

We are currently seeking applications for the full-time role (37.5 hours per week) of Administration Officer located at our Rockhampton venue.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate and deliver all administrative activities undertaken at a venue, whilst providing a high quality of service to clients.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Manage the venue reception area by providing clients with a high level of customer service through face to face and telephone communication
  • Provide administrative support to the venue through diary management and other administrative duties
  • Use the Client Information System (CIS) to input and update client details and information relating to sessions and appointments
  • Receipt all money, EFTPOS and cheque transactions in a timely and accurate manner, bank all receipted transactions and complete banking return forms in line with the Financial Procedures.

Work days/hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant, however please note that the position holder will be required to work an evening shift (12pm to 8pm) up to once a week, with some flexibility needed in order to meet business requirements.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have

  • Experience in an administrative role providing face-to-face, email and telephone customer service and
  • Experience managing challenging customer interactions in a professional manner.
  • Will be competent in computer use (Microsoft Office, email, web based programs) and
  • Have the ability to learn new programs and applications,
  • Effective time management,
  • Attention to detail,
  • Prioritising and organisation skills.
  • Experience working within the human services sector, and a certificate III or IV in Business Administration are highly desired.

The salary being offered is $55,867.50 to $60,996.00 per annum pro rata, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
