A K Gaz PTY LTD own and operate McDonald's Restaurant's in the Rockhampton and Yeppoon area. We are a growing business with four restaurants that operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The candidates main responsibilities will be ensuring the effective operation of all restaurant equipment as well as emergency break downs and regular maintenance. Equipment ranges from commercial cooking appliances to fully ducted commercial air conditioning. The range of equipment is as follows: - Grills- Fryers- Hot holding cabinets- Coffee machines- Small fridges- Frozen carbonated beverage machines- Post mix beverage machines- Small fridges- Walk in freezers and cold rooms- Packaged air conditioning

Qualifications & experience

Refrigerant handling licence desirable
Experience on commercial kitchen equipment desirable
Drivers license and reliable vehicle
Trade qualification in Electrical and/or Refrigeration
Tools of trade required
QLD restricted electrical work license a must have
Experience on large and small refrigeration units

Tasks & responsibilities

Planned maintenance on hot and cold kitchen equipment
Air Conditioning repairs and servicing
Hot and cold equipment break downs / repairs
Minor building repairs / Handyman tasks
Effectively manage maintenance and repair budget
Manage a team that undertake restaurant Planned and Daily Maintenance
